Study programme characteristic

Graduates are being prepared for business and commercial activities with machines and operation management of machines and technical systems in production and trade companies, as well as production companies in the agri-food industry. Based on engineering knowledge, students learn how to prepare and implement business plans in engineering investment policy, they are prepared for trading with machines, including consulting, logistic and service activities. The study programme is significantly supported by courses of economic nature with respect to future professional specialisation of an entrepreneurial type graduate. Boosted language competence gives opportunities for trading with foreign entities. Graduates of the study programme “Machinery Trading and Business” have all qualifications to continue in the 3rd level of university study in the branch 6.1.14 Machinery and Mechanisation of Agricultural Production and to be awarded the degree of Philosophiae Doctor – PhD.
