Assesment methods :
During the semester 1 written exam (35 points). Combined Final Exam (written and oral) for 65 points.
For obtaining the evaluation "A" is necessary receive least 93 points, for evaluation "B" minimum 86 points, for evaluation "C" minimum 79 points, for evaluation "D" minimum 72 points and for evaluation "E" least 64 points. Student acquires credits for subject only in the case of A - E evaluation.
 
Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the subject the student is able to apply new informations about characteristics of raised breeds of poultry and fur animals and value of these breeds for intensive hybrid combination breeding. Student will understand the relationships between biological relations and useful parameters of these farm animals. He will absorb the basis of product quality evaluation obtained from poultry and fur animals raising.
 
Course contents:
Biological foundations of poultry, poultry breeds and hybrids used for breeding in breeding, propagation and commercial holdings. Reproduction poultry. Production of table eggs and poultry meat production. Principles of evaluation and processing of poultry products. Breeds of rabbits, breeding rabbits in the backyard and intensive technologies. Products of rabbit breeding. Breeding herbivorous and carnivorous fur animals.
