Assesment methods :
Preparation and presentation of project - 40 points, final exam - 60 points. For obtaining of evaluation A is necessary to obtain minimum 93 points, for the evaluation B minimum 86 points, evaluation C minimum 79 points, evaluation D minimum 72 points and for evaluation E minimum 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim of the subject - is to provide a detailed knowledge about the functions of the brain, endocrine and immune systems and about interaction among integrating regulatory systems of the organism of animals and humans. Basic objective is to characterize the humoral and neural pathways which organism uses for centripetal transport of information to the brain and the pathways and mechanisms that can be used for centrifugal modulation of pathological processes.Information about functional interactions, reflexes, senses,CNS and higher nervous activity, endocrine glands, and about mechanisms of specifc and nonspecific immunity.

Learning outcomes - graduate of the subject understands functions of regulatory systems of animals and humans.
Course contents:
Basic structural elements of the nervous system and functional relations. Internal milieu of the central nervous system. Nerve fibers and interneuronal integration mechanisms. Reflexes and reflex arcs.CNS. CNS and functional relationships. Senses - taste, smell, eyes, ears, vestibular system. Mechanisms of action of pharmaceuticals acting on the nervous system. Endocrine regulation. Hormones of the endocrine glands. Calcium-phosphate metabolism. Gastrointestinal hormones. Hormones in food intake. Glucoregulation. Endocrinology and bone growth. Mechanisms of action of pharmaceuticals acting on the endocrine system. Specific and nonspecific immunity.
