Assesment methods :
Individual work of students on selected topics. During the semester seminar work will be outsourced. At the end of the semester students will present actively developed theme. Students are evaluated active defense of semester work. Final exam is for 100 points. To obtain A grade is necessary to obtain at least 93 points, for B grade at least 86 points, for C grade at least 79 points, for D grade at least 72 points and for E grade at least 64 points.work.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will get knowledge about ergonomics as a branch of science, which deals with optimalization of human stress. Student will be able to look for ways for decreasing of human stress and development of personality.
Course contents:
Introduction and history of Ergonomics.
Systematic approach and sciences related to Ergonomics, ergonomic system( man - machine - environment).
The basic tasks of Ergonomics, the basic requirements for ergonomic design of tools and workplaces.
Anthropocentric and mechanocentric principle of design.
Optimal relation between the needs of human beings and the working environment.
The impact of the environment on working activity - light, noise, vibration, temperature, and microclimate.
Effect of control tools design as well as location of displays and control tools on human performance, workload, and the emergence of difficulties.
Relation between ergonomics solutions and the applicable legislation.
The possibility of assessing the level of ergonomic solutions.
