Assesment methods :
100 point written test. For obtaining the evaluation "A" is necessary receive least 93 points, for evaluation "B" minimum 86 points, for evaluation "C" minimum 79 points, for evaluation "D" minimum 72 points and for evaluation "E" least 64 points. Student acquires credits for subject only in the case of A - E evaluation.
 
Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the subject the student is able to apply new knowledge about biological aspects of farm breeding in practical farm conditions. The technological parameters of farm buildings, methods of reproduction, feeding and health care in relation with games biological traits are presented.
 
Course contents:
The subject of study on the lessons is zoological categorization of farmed game species and their biological characteristic. Breeding, technological, ethological and ecological aspects during establishing and operation of farms are teached. Nutrition according to the species, sex, age and biological cycle during the year are analyzed. Next solved problems are: breeding and reproductive traits, technological equipment, veterinary and deseases problems and economical effectivity. Practical exercises are carry out at farms near Nitra.
