Assesment methods :
The continuous control of student preparation for practicals. To obtain A grade is necessary to obtain at least 93 points, for B grade at least 86 points, for C grade at least 79 points, for D grade at least 72 points and for E grade at least 64 points. Student will aquire credits for subject in case of obtaining grade A or E.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The subject provides knowledge about the construction, technologies of work, adjusting methods and operation of machinery utilized in agricultural crop production in terms of its design elements and basic principles of machinery work.
Education results - the student is able to apply his knowledge in the productionand processing of biological materials in terms ofquantity of work and its impact on labour and the environment in specific working conditions.
Course contents:
Machinery for primary and pre-sowing tillage, fertilization, sowing and planting, treatment of plants and chemical protection. Machinery for harvestingof cereals, legumes, forages and root crops.Machinery for post-harvest processing of productsand harvesting of special crops.Machinery for drying and composting. Principles of the major functional partswork of machinery, adjustment of the working assemblies and their effect on the quality of work. The compilation of the agricultural machinery assemblies and technological lines.Work safety with machinery.
