Assesment methods :
In the course of the semester will be one written test with 40 points and the final exam 60 points. To obtain a trial and must be obtained at least 93 points, to obtain user B at least 86 points, the C rating of at least 79 points for the evaluation of at least 72 points D and E on the evaluation of at least 64 points. In less than 64 points a student receives FX. Credits will be awarded to a student who meets the prerequisites for this course.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students will acquire knowledge of the subject the student understands new information about diagnostics in virology, prevention against viral infections, the systematic classification of viruses, and classification and characterization of parasites, is able to apply knowledge to use PCR method for identification of bacteria in practice, to interpret outcomes obtained from microscopic observation, cultivation, pathogenesis and laboratory investigation.
Course contents:
Virological diagnostic, prevention, prophylaxis of viral infections, virus division. Parasites, roundworms. Use PCR to identify bacteria. Microscopic image, cultivation, pathogenesis, therapy and laboratory testing of individual groups of bacteria.
