Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
The objective of the subject is to provide for students basic knowledge of project management, its content, scope and use in process control. After completition of the subject the student is able to apply knowledge of project management in practice. After completion, students should be familiar with the methods and instruments PM from project definition, planning, management, to evaluation. The student learns that the project is a unique process consisting of a number of coordinated and controlled activities with start and end dates, undertaken to achieve an objective that meets the specific requirements, including the constraints of the time, cost and resources. The project is something that has a beginning and an end, it is characterized by uniqueness, consistency to limited resources, uncertainty and risk. The project is unique and unique set of activities that differ from routine activities not only content, but also a focus target, the project is not periodically recurring work.
 
Course contents:
The Contents of the curriculum is to provide a basic understanding of project management, its content, scope and use in process control. Students learn to apply project management through practical exercises. After completion, students should be familiar with the methods and tools of project management from project definition, planning, implementation, management, monitoring to evaluation. The student learns that the project is a unique process consisting of a number of coordinated and controlled activities with start and end dates, undertaken to achieve an objective that meets the specific requirements, including the constraints of the time, cost and resources.
