Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
Graduatee of subject understands the theory of economic policy and its application in practice at the present time. Subject explores the relationship between economic, social, environmental and regional policy at national and European level. It examines the stages of decision-bearers of economic policy objectives and strategies and the use of appropriate instruments of economic policy in the country. The student is able to apply knowledge in the public or private sphere.
Course contents:
Brief cross section of economic development policies, objectives, instruments, institutions and institutions of economic policy. The structure of economic policy and competition. Fiscal policy, its structure and types. Types of monetary policy, its impact and financial institutions. Social and pension policy. Foreign Policy. Environmental policy, its objectives, instruments and impact on the environment. The Common Agricultural Policy.
