Assesment methods :
There will be a preliminary test during the semester for 20 points, semester project and its presentation for 10 points, assignment for 10 points and final test for 60 point. For getting the grade A minimum 93 points is required, for B minimum 86 points, for C minimum 79 points, for D minimum 72 points and for E minimum 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the course the students understand approaches used in the sphere of public economy both in the theory and practice on the international, national and local level.
Course contents:
subject of the public sector economy, Pareto optimum, reasons for existence of state and its roles, existence of market, reasons for market failures, public goods and their optimal provision, externalities, public expenditures, taxes and their impact on inhabitants, fiscal decentralization.
