To obtain A must be obtained at least 93 points, for the evaluation B at least 86 points, C rating on at least 79 points, for the evaluation D at least 72 points, and E on the evaluation of at least 64 points. Student receives credit for the subject in the case of evaluation mark from A to E.
Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students will learn basic assortment of deciduous, coniferous and evergreen species of decorative plants. They will learn morphological marks, ecological needs and use of the most used decorative, native and introduced woody plant species. After completion of the subject the student is able to identify basic assortment of woody plants and their cultivars, understands eco-cultivation needs, and is able to apply knowledge of dendrology in the horticultural creation.
Course contents:
Theoretical training consists of lectures (2 hours per week) practical lessons (2 hours per week) semestral work, determining the types of herbarium items and leafless branches, literature studies and verification of knowledge: test (nomenclature, ecological requirements, land use development, morphology ). The test is in written and oral form (60 points). Determination of herbarium items and leafless branches (40 points).
