Course unit title: Composition and management of projects
Planned types, learning activities and teaching methods:
lecture2 hours weekly / 26 hours per semester of study (on-site method)

Semester: Rural Development and Development of Rural Tourism - master (required), 3. semester
Level of study: 2.
Prerequisites for registration: none
Assesment methods :
During the semester students develop teacher-led project - request for a grant - which will consist of logical matrix and application form to a real call for proposals. The project will be assessed by maximum 40 points. The maximum point value of the final written exam is 60 points. To obtain "A" rating students must obtain at least 93 points, for the evaluation of "B" at least 86 points, for "C" rating at least 79 points, for evaluation "D" at least 72 points and for "E" evaluation at least 64 points. Condition for passing the course is also participation in lectures and active participation in seminars.








Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The goal of the subject is to learn a system approach in project creation and management. Students acquire knowledge in EU programming and projecting rules and in implementation system of EU financial aid instruments and practical skills in the field of project cycle management (PCM). Within the practical part, they try to simulate phases of project creation and management, e.g. project team creation, project formulation, etc.
