Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the subject the student is able to solve the management of sustainable use and protection both renewable and non-renewable natural resources in conditions of Slovakia.
Course contents:
Classification of renewable and non-renewable natural resources. Mineral wealth. Soil. Water. Biota. Energy and energy systems. Strategies and management of natural resources in conditions of Slovakia and EU. Short term and long term predictions and scenarios of use of natural resources. Legislation of use of natural resources.
