In the course of the semester will be written test for 30 points, presentation of seminary work for 10 points and the final exam for 60 points. To obtain a trial and must be obtained at least 93 points for the evaluation of at least 86 points B, C rating on at least 79 points for the evaluation of at least 72 points D and E on the evaluation of at least 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After the completion of the subject the student understands the problematics of information security (hereinafter IS), obtains theoretical knowledges and practical skills and techniques in the field of security of individual components information-communication technologies and also in the field of virtualization workstations and servers. From the practical aspect, the student is able to identify and analyze potential threats and incidents IS and practice their eliminate, raise safety awareness users of information-communication technologies, is able to usee virtualization tools at the level of desktop/server.
Course contents:
Introduction to Information Security (terminology, classification IB components, classification of threats and risks). Security at the level of operating systems and servers (MS Windows, Linux / Unix, Android, iOS). Computer network security (including wireless and mobile networks). Data processing in enterprise from the view of IB (data manipulation and access permissions, backup and archiving, data destruction). The basic principles of encryption and data encryption / communication. Software crime (malware, social engineering). Standards and legislation in the field of IB (norms and standards, current legislation SR/ EU, contractual relations by outsourcing, digital signature, certificates) Information security at the enterprise level (formal documents, analysis and design of security policy). Virtualization - a theoretical framework and practical application, the principles of work safety in a virtual environment. The selected lecture from the field of information security.
