Assesment methods :
During the semester, it will be two written tests for 15 points and a final written exam for 70 points. To acquire the evaluation A, it must be obtained at least 90 points, for the evaluation of B - at least 80 points, the evaluation of C - at least 65 points, the evaluation of D - at least 50 points and the evaluation of E - at least 40 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of this subject, student understands the basic principles of logistics and its dividing. The student is able to analyze the principles of logistics system, the controlling principles of material and immaterial (information) flows, as well as principles of organizational structure of the company. The student is able to identify the basic principles and functions of logistics controlling approach of material and information flows in manufacture and service company.
Course contents:
Logistics systems and processes. Practical studies of material flows and their analysis. Optimal solutions arrangement methods of production and non-production departments in the company. Production logistics and production logistics technologies. Logistics of service companies and their departments. Service companies capacity and its calculation. Purchasing and supply logistics. Distribution logistics.
