Assesment methods :
During the semester 1 written exam (40 points). Final exam written (60 points).
For obtaining the evaluation "A" is necessary receive least 93 points, for evaluation "B" minimum 86 points, for evaluation "C" minimum 79 points, for evaluation "D" minimum 72 points and for evaluation "E" least 64 points. Student acquires credits for subject only in the case of A - E evaluation.

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the subject the student is able to apply knowledge of poultry-raising breeding principles into practical conditions of intensive husbandry. He will be able to provide microclimatic and technological conditions in poultry houses, to work out organizing and technological methods of breeding and define perspective possibilities of production concerns.
Course contents:
Optimizing breeding environment for different types of poultry, feeding and watering equipment, organization of hatchery plants, disinfection methods and environmental protection. Requirements of individual age group of poultry in the rearing on air temperature, lighting programs, occupation of breeding areas, as well as space for feeding and watering in relation to the technology used. Technological procedures for rearing and breeding of parental forms of poultry, rearing and breeding of laying hens, poultry feed.
