Assesment methods :
The term grade will consist of continuous assessment – two written exams 20 points each (40 points), and end-of-term examination – written exam (60 points). Grading scale: letter grade A requires minimum 93 points, letter grade B requires minimum 86 points, letter grade C requires minimum 79 points, letter grade D requires minimum 72 points, letter grade E requires minimum 64 points. A student may earn units of credits in grading scale from A to E.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student is able to regulate the soil environment suitable machining. Knows weeds and vegetation cycles under which they can regulate optimized.
Course contents:
Land management principles and methods of control. Intensification factors in horticulture. Basic approaches to tillage. Basic soil properties and machinability. Control of the development of vegetation and seeding and planting. Control of soil and its modes during vegetation crops and horticultural crops. The issue of weed and weed infestation. Discovering weed seeds. Practical methods for current weed infestation. Non-chemical control methods weed infestation in horticulture. Weed infestation control chemicals. Solution of model examples weed infestation control in vegetable production, horticulture and viticulture.
