Assesment methods :
Written test (32 points), project presentation (8 points) and a final written exam (60 points): for grade A minimum 93 points are necessary, for grade B minimum 86 points are necessary, for grade C minimum 79 points are necessary, for grade D minimum 72 points are necessary, for grade E minimum 64 points are necessary.

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student is able after completion of this course Agricultural Economics understand the structure of the Agricultural resort, natural value and the outcome, cost, intensity, profitability and productivity, tools, agricultural policy and sectoral economy. After completing the subject the student is able to apply the obtained knowledge during the interdisciplinary study and in solving problems in primary agricultural production.

Course contents:
Agricultural resort in the Slovak economy. Socio-economic development of Slovak agriculture. Production conditions in agriculture. Economic transformation in Agrokomplex. Factors of production in agricultural production. Natural and value results in agricultural production. Cost in agriculture as a economics category. Intensity of agricultural production. Labour productivity in agriculture. Profitability in agricultural production. The economy of instrument of agricultural policy. Basics of the economics of major sectors of plant and animal production.
