Prerequisites for registration:
Assesment methods :
During te term will be a written test for 20 points,prezentation project for 10 points and the final exam for 70 points. To obtain evaluation A is needed to obtain at least 93 points, for the evaluation B at least 86 points, for the evaluation C at least 79 points, for the evaluation D at least 72 points and for the evaluation E at least 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of course student understands the meaning and use of marketing information in the decision making and managing process of companies, as well as the concept of creation the information systems for the business entities and their marketing. Student gains knowledge about the fundamental principles of operations in information systems focusing on the customers relationship management, information systems focusing on supply chain management, information systems focusing on supplier relationship management, and business activities at the different stage of product life cycle.
Course contents:
The content of course offers the students to gain comprehensive information about different possibilities of using information systems in the field of business and marketing. About the informative company. The business information systems ERP. The relations between marketing and managerial systems. Marketing information system structure and specifics. Data warehouses. Data mining – tool for business and marketing. On-line analytic processing. Electronic trading. Electronic data exchange. Outsourcing.
