Assesment methods :
Midterm written exam 30 points, final written exam 30 points, assignment project paper with presentation 30 points, coursework 10 points. The student can achieve the evaluation grade A if he receives at least 93 points, grade B if he receives at least 86 points, grade C if he receives at least 79 points, grade D if he receives at least 72 points and grade E if he receives at least 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The objective of this course is to explain impacts of global financial markets, european integation, expectations, structural changes, fiscal and monetary policies as well as other poicies on the functioning of national economy, firms and households.
Course contents:
Measuring economic activity. Model IS-LM-AS-AD. Monetary and fiscal policy. Labor market and capital markets. Consumption andinvestment. Phillips curve. Economic growth. Expectations. Stocks and bonds. Open economy. Exchange rate. European monetary integration. Global economic problems ad institutions.
