Assesment methods :
Semester project for 20 points and written exam for 80 points. To achieve A it is necessary to obtain min. 93 points, B min. 86 points, C min. 79 points, D min. 72 points and to achieve evaluation E min 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To teach students methods of rational problem solving connected with processes of planning, organizing, ledership and control in an organization unit. The student will understand the issues connected with communication on workplace and ways of decision - making in management. After completing the course the student should be able to identify, analyse and apply the knowledge gained from studying management to solve business issues connected with managerial functions.

- Development of management, managerial schools, representatives, their theories and contribution
- Basics of cybernetics in management
- Theory of organization
- Company in market economy and principles of management
- Decision - making process
- Planning as a function of management
- Position of human being in the process of management
- Manager´s personality, ledership styles, etiquette of managerial work
- Control process
