Assesment methods :
Within semester students will write 1 test per 30 points plus project for 10 points. Altogether 40 points for seminar and written examination will be 60 point. Max. 100 points. To achieve A is necessary to obtain min. 93 points, B min. 86 points, C min. 79 points, D min. 72 points and to achieve evaluation E min 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Economics of Enterprises will focus on an overview of basic economic theory applied to modern business decision-making.The course will include coverage of the major macroeconomic and microeconomic concepts that are important to managers' decisions making. The primary goal of the course is to develop in students a working knowledge and understanding of the economics that managers need to be effective in today's business world.
Course contents:
Course content includes issues of theories company, nature of the production function analysis of costs in the short and long term, sales of the company in different forms of competition, break even point analysis, operational, financial, and total leverage, profit maximization in different forms of competition, the determinants of capital structure of the company, the methodology economic efficiency and cash flow.
