Assesment methods :
Throughout semester student elaborates a seminar thesis for which they can get evaluation of max. 10 points, for its presentation in PPT 10 points and for activity at seminars and case studies 10 points. The final written examination is for 70 points. To get an A mark, it is necessary to get at least 93 points, for a B mark at least 86 points, for a C at least 79 points, for a D at least 72 points and for an E at least 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
A student will deal with the basic theoretical principles of human resource management and their application in the practice - recruitment and selection of employees, methods of selection, adaptation and education process, criteria and methods of employees´ assessment. They can apply individual motivation theories and strategies, effective communication principles on a workplace, leadership, to identify and solve issues on a workplace, load and stress on a workplace and diversity management.
Course contents:
The subject includes the following problem areas: personnel policy and personnel policy business description and job analyses, recruitment, selection and placement of employees, process of adaptation, corporate training, assessment and staff mobility, staff motivation, effective communication, leadership and management style, diversity management, working environment.
