Assesment methods :
Written test during the semester - 20 points. Case studies on selected topics in the exercises - 20 points. Part semestral assessments will and active participation in lectures and exercises. Final written and oral exam - 60 points. To obtain A mark will be needed to obtain at least 93 points, for the evaluation of B mark at least 86 points, C mark at least 79 points, for the evaluation of D mark at least 72 points and for the evaluation of E mark at least 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student will understand and be able to define and characterize the fundamental problems that must be addressed to exporters and importers in trade with goods and in other forms of economic cooperation with foreign countries. The student will be able to apply knowledge and to clarify the possibilities, forms and conditions for doing business in international markets. The student will understand and be able to define and characterize the specifics of trading on foreign markets for agricultural and food commodities.
Course contents:
The content of the subject is oriented to trading on international markets, making international business operations, production rates in foreign trade, payment terms, risks in foreign trade. The part of the subject is also specifics characteristic of trading on foreign markets for agricultural and food commodities.
