Assesment methods :
During the semester will be one credit test for 30 points and the final written exam for 50 points. To pass the subject is necessary to make and successfully defend semestral project for 20 points. To the total evaluation is added the active participation in seminars and successful completion of partial tasks during the semester.To obtain the evaluation A is needed to gain at least 93 points, for B is needed to gain at least 86 points, for C is needed to gain at least 79 points, for D is needed to gain at least 72 points and for E is needed to gain at least 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Course graduate will understand issues of algorithm development and programming at the user level. In practical terms, the issue is centered on understanding algorithms and algorithm tools and the basic requirements for the creation of simple programs in the Visual Basic, which is also applicable in other office programs. The student will become familiar with the rules of syntax and programming principles.
Course contents:
Basic terminology of algorithms - terminology, properties. Algorithmic structure - flowcharts, variables, branching, cycles. Programming languages - types, syntax. Transcription of structures to the programming language - branching, real numbers, cycles. Introduction to the Visual Basic programming language - variables and operators, decision-making structures. User interface development - forms, graphics, special effects. Working with extensive input - modules and procedures.
