|During the semester 1 written exams (20points).|
1 semestral work (20 points).
The final exam is combinated (written and oral) for 60 points.
For final A level student must gain at least 93 points, for B level 86 points, C level 79 points, D level 72 points and E level 64 points.
Student will gain credits for course if level is from A to E.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
|After completion of the subject the student understands biological and organizational bases of animal production and their application for efficient production of quality the animal products from human nutrition point of view.|
|The student gains knowledge of the farm animals origin, principles of selection,methods of breeding of farm animals. Student will acquire knowledge of commercial properties and their evaluation of individual farm animals from the perspective of production the animal products with an emphasize to food utilization. Then their achieved knowledges about managing the reproduction, technic and technology of animal breeding, utilization of biotechnology processes as well as principle of preservation the biodiversity in breeding of cattle, pigs, sheep, horses, poultry, fur animals. The student will acquaint with consequence of individual animal breeds for production qualitative products. The student will learn how to evaluate the influence of breeding factors and welfare in the animal breeding in relation to amount as well as quality of their prodution. Finally student gains knowledge of principle ecological and alternative production systems.|
