Assesment methods :
Project preparation and presentation valued by 40 points, the final exam valued by 60 points. To pass the trial marked as A, it is necessary to obtain at least 93 points , in the case of B trial at least 86 points, trial C at least 79 points, trial D at least 72 points and finally trial E at least 64 points, respectively.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Deepen the knowledge about roles of international programs and legislation in preservation and sustainable use of cultivated species diversity for use in nutrition, agricultural landscape creation and development of village.
Course contents:
Realization of tasks resulted from ratified international Convention on Biological Diversity connected with food security, production of healthy unexceptionable food, landscape design, environment, rural development, manufacturing, alternative energy sources and other increasing demands of population with respect to copyright and intellectual property rights, access to genepool, technology transfer, using traditional knowledge and technologies and also breeding new cultivars and hybrids for modern silvicultural and processing technologies.
