Assesment methods :
Project preparation and presentation valued by 40 points, the final exam valued by 60 points. To pass the trial marked as A, it is necessary to obtain at least 93 points , in the case of B trial at least 86 points, trial C at least 79 points, trial D at least 72 points and finally trial E at least 64 points, respectively.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the subject the student is able to ensure and realize precise common application of pesticides and liquid mineral fertilizers in the form of tank mixes by means of modern application machinery at required application rates and concentrations of respective agrochemicals.
Course contents:
Preparation and usage of tank-mixes in plant nutrition and plant protection. Effective combinations for pesticides with liquid mineral fertilizers tank-mixes preparation. Mechanism of pesticides effect on pathogen agents when applied in tank-mix with fertilizers. Spectrum of effect and residual action of pesticides applied in tank-mix with fertilizers. Advantages of common application of pesticides and liquid fertilizers from the viewpoint of effect, environment and economy. Technical and weather conditions for tank-mixes application. Types of liquid mixtures (right solutions, suspensions, emulsions, aerosols)and application equipments. Precious application of fertilizers based on soil nutrition supply maps as well as the GPS (global positioning system) utilization.
