Assesment methods :
Project for 40 points, and end-of-term examination – oral exam (60 points). Grading scale: letter grade A requires minimum 93 points, letter grade B requires minimum 86 points, letter grade C requires minimum 79 points, letter grade D requires minimum 72 points, letter grade E requires minimum 64 points. A student may earn units of credits in grading scale from A to E.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students is able to apply knowledge about function and transformation of nutriments and energy in organism and about their optimalisation in nourishment.
Course contents:
Nutriments function, digestion, resorption and intermediate substance conversion, nutriments and energy balance in organism in reference to optimalization, abundance and insufficient in nourishment, nutritional mechanizations of controlling nutriments and energy interception, prediction of interception nutriments, method development of valuation nitrogenous compounds and energy and their implementation in nourishment, nutritional classification of nourishment sources, environmental, ethic and legal aspects of nourishment.
