Assesment methods :
In the course of the semester 2 written test for 20 points will be realized. Final written exam will be for 60 points. To obtain a mark A at least 93 points must be obtained for the evaluation of B at least 86 points, for C at least 79 points for mark D minimum 72 points and for E at least 64 points must be obtained.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Goal of the subject is to provide informations on functions of particular tissues, organs, and organ systems of animals. Student understands the basic physiological functions and is able to apply gained knowledge in the study of other subjects.
Course contents:
Explanation of the basic functions of all tissues and organ systems. Basic knowledge about internal milieau and biological regularities that determine the vital functions of animal body, depending on the ever-changing living conditions. Interactions of the main systems providing activity of cells, tissues and organs. Principles of management and control processes in the organ systems in the body as a entirety. Providing a comprehensive overview of the physiological aspects of human and animal metabolism.
