Assesment methods :
During the semester: partial written test in the 5th/6th and 11th/12th week, total of 40 points.
Final exam: written test 40 points, oral exam 20 points.
|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|After completion of the subject the student understand to knowledge of risk analysis. He is able to solve the requirements for risk assessment, risk management and risk communication. He is able to apply knowledge to the proper use of quantitative and qualitative methods of risk assessment. He is able to apply risk assessment as a tool for managing food safety management systems within the standards ISO 22000 and others.|
Risk analysis, risk assessment, risk management and risk communication. Assessment of chemical and microbiological hazards of food, assessment of the risk of GMOs, nanomaterials, food additives, neurological diseases and viruses. The assessment of health risk and the methodology of its assessment.
