Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To handle theoretically the issue of economic valuation of environmental goods and identifying and valuing ecosystem function and services. To identify the benefits of ecosystem functions and services in the country. To handle theoretically the valuation methods of ecosystem functions and services. To master the techniques of preferential and non-preferential methods and market methods for empirical research and implementation in the country.

Course contents:
Economic valuation of nature, property rights to ecosystems, basic categories ecosystem functions and services, methods for valuing ecosystem functions and services,
preferential methods (wlligness to pay, willigness to accept), hedonic price method, travel cost method, contingent value method.
