Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the subject the student is able to apply the methods of indicators development according to the model DPSIR and to assess the indicators in real conditions, including change dynamics.
Course contents:
Principles of development of indicators of sustainability, models and algorithms of their creation. Framework DPSIR. Driving forces, pressure, state, impact, response. Strukture of indicators. Descriptve indicators of efficieny. History of SD indicators development, national and international lists/catalogues of indicators. Assessment and interpretation of indicators. Scenarios. Specifics of assessment of environmental and social-economic processses (agriculture, industry, energy, health state of humans etc.). Risk assessment.
