Planned types, learning activities and teaching methods:
lecture1 hour weekly / 13 hours per semester of study (on-site method)
seminar2 hours weekly / 26 hours per semester of study (on-site method)

Prerequisites for registration: none
Assesment methods :
semestral work, written exam;
For grade A it is necessary to gain at least 93 points, for grade B at least 86 points, for grade C at least 79 points, for grade D at least 72 points, and for grade E at least 64 points. Student obtains credits if an evaluation is from A to E.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To advise students with the existing projects and events supporting the wine-tourism in Slovakia and surrounding counties.
To advise students with the operation principles and activities of societies and organizations in various wine-tourism segments. Propagation and support of domestic tourism. To advise students with the role of the wine in national heritage, aim of viticulture in landscape creation, character and land uniqueness.

Educational outcomes: The student will use detailed knowledge of the emerging segment of wine tourism in the regions of Slovakia. It can be applied in tourism.
Course contents:
The role of wine grape in cultural nation heritage, the role in land character creation and uniqueness of the land. The Small carpathian wine route, Nitra royal wine route, Wine route Záhorie, Tokay wine route, Strekov wine festival, Kamenín wine route, Wine route Modrý kameň, Turňany wine route, Szegab Bátorove Kosihy, Veľký Krtíš wine route, Nitra wine festival. Viticulture and enology museums and open-air museums in Slovakia, proposal of own wine route in project form – semestral work.
