2 hours weekly / 26 hours per semester of study (on-site method)
4 hours weekly / 52 hours per semester of study (on-site method)

Landscape and Garden Architecture - bachelor (required), 8. semester
Level of study: 1.
Prerequisites for registration:
Assesment methods :
Course credit: Elaboration of landscape project of selected green areas - successful evaluation of the continuous controls and public presentation.
Exam: Processing assessment of graphical part of the project, project documentation and poster.

To obtain marking as A - excelent must be obtained at least 93 points,
for marking as B - very good must be obtained at least 86 points, for
marking as C – good must be obtained at least 79 points, for marking
as D - satisfactory must be obtained at least 72 points and for
marking as E – satisfactory must be obtained at least 64 points.
Student obtains a course-credit for subject in the case of marking
from A to E.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student draw up a study of landscape design of selected green areas according to specifications of the bachelor thesis.
Course contents:
Familiarize students with the subject, content and scope of the bachelor thesis project. Analysis of wider relations in the territory, binding to the wider environment, infrastructure, systems of greenery in the city and the country, binding to other documentation. Making drawings of the current state of the object. Tree inventory. Possibilities for making analysis of the current state of the object. Types of analysis: functional - spatial, compositional, historical, potential and limits of the territory, pros and cons, SWOT analysis.Proposal for landscape design of selected object. Creation of landscape design of selected object - the idea of ​​design, the starting points for creation, embodiment of the theme,functional and spatial solution. The creating drawings of the design of the project.Creating of landscape detail drawings, creating visualizations, creating presentations and posters. Creating text of the work.
