|The term grade will consist of continuous assessment – two written exams 20 points each (40 points), and end-of-term examination – oral exam (60 points).|
Grading scale: letter grade A requires minimum 93 points, letter grade B requires minimum 86 points, letter grade C requires minimum 79 points, letter grade D requires minimum 72 points, letter grade E requires minimum 64 points.
A student may earn units of credits in grading scale from A to E.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the subject the student will understands biological principles of keeping poultry. He will be able to recognize morphological and physiological characteristic linked with production and practically rate quality meat of poultry and eggs.
The importance of Poultry Science. Morphological and physiological characteristics of poultry in relation to reproduction. Production of eggs and poultry meat. Economics and organization of poultry production. The practical part of the education (field exercise) is realized in the VPP SPU, s.r.o. Kolíňany.
