Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To teach the students methods of the possibilities of protection of stocking of fruits, vegetables, corns, potatoes, beet and technical products. After completion of the subject the students will be able to detremine the most important diseases and pests of storaged products and plants and their effective control in storage.
Course contents:
Physical, chemical and mechanical methods of elimination of pathogens and pests during the storage of plant products. The aim is to save the quality of fruits, nutritional value and biological quality of seeds during the storage and to decrease the damage caused by pathogens and animal pests.
