Assesment methods :
During the semester there will be 1 semester task (20 points), 1 practical test(15 points), exercise protocols (5 points) and final written exam for 60 points. Grading scale: an "A" score requires at least 93 points, a "B" score at least 86 points, a "C" score requires at least 79 points, "D" score at least 72 points, and an "E" score requires at least 64 points.

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The goal of the course is to enable students to acquire new knowledge and basic skills using information and communication technologies in the field of agrobiological science, processing and retrieval of information, thereby improving their computer and information literacy. Within the framework of lectures and exercises, students learn the basic information about computer hardware and software, and acquire skills to work with application programs of MS Office.
Course contents:
Hardware computer equipment. Computer software. Working in the operating system. Computer application software. Office suites. Typographic rules, citation, plagiarism. Working with the text processor MS Word. Presentation, design, graphics in PC. Work with the presentation program MS Power Point. Model of experimental work, data collection, data matrix, measurement errors. Basic statistical data processing - sorting, mean values, variability. Working with the spreadsheet MS Excel. Basic processing of experimental data through MS Excel tools.
