Assesment methods :
During semester written exam (20 points) and semestral work (20 points). Final written exam is for maximum 60 points. For evaluation A it is necessary to collect minimum 93 points, for evaluation B minimum 86 points, for evaluation C minimum 79 points, for evaluation D minimum 72 points and for evaluation E minimum 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To teach the students the most important animal pests of field crops, the occurrence and spreading of individual kinds of animal pest, their description, bionomy, harmfulness and actual protection on the host plant. After completion of the subject the students will be able to determine the most important pests of field crops and their effective control.
Course contents:
Occurrence and distribution animal pests of field crops, their description, bionomy, damage and actual control methods on different host plants. The most important pest of cereal crops, maize, leguminoses, alfalfa and clover, sugar beet, potatoes, oilseed rape, poppy, soybean, sunflower, hemp, hopsand tobacco.
