Prerequisites for registration: none
Assesment methods :
- Partial written tests during the semester for 30 points,
- Seminary project and individual project tasks via LMS Moodle (bonus) for 10 points,
- The final exam test for 60 points.
It is necessary to obtain (out of 100 points):
- at least 93 points for the grade A, at least 86 points for the grade B, at least 79 points for the grade C, at least 72 points for the grade D and at least 64 points for the grade E.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim of the subject is to proviede students with konowledge of linear algebra and differential and integral calculus of the function of one real variable. Student acquires theoretical knowledge (basic concepts, definitions, mathematical theorems) and practical skills how to solve problems concerning the mentioned topics.
Course contents:
- basic concepts and operations with matrices,elementary row (column) operations, Gaussian algorithm, rank of a matrix, inverse matrix,
- systems of linear equations: basic concepts of homogenous and non-homogenous systems of linear equations, Frobenius theorem,Gaussian elimination method, solution of systems of linear equations by inverse matrix,

Functions of one real variable:
- basic properties of functions, elementary functions,
- graph of functions, inverse functions,

Limit of a function of one real variable:
- definition of a limit, basic types of limits,asymptotes of a graph of a function,

Derivative of a function of one real variable:
- definition of a derivative, derivatives of elementary functions,differentiation rules
- differentiation of a composite function, higher order derivatives,
- applications of derivatives: equation of a tangent line,monotonicity of functions,extremal values of functions, convexity of functions and points of inflection,

Indefinite integral. Definite integral. Applications of definite integrals - area of a planar sector.
