Written test during semester (40 points). After semester written exam (60 points). A (100-93 points), B (92-86), C (85- 78), D (77-71), E (70-64). FX 63 and less.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completion of the subject student understands base of strategy formulation and implementation. The student understands problem of strategic management process from the point of setting vision and objectives, through strategy formation to the strategy implementation. Student is able to apply to apply knowledge in praxis. After completion student is able to analyse external and internal environment of company, cerates and chooses appropriate strategy according to results of specific methods, evaluates portfolio of company, and identify the strategy on company, business, and functional levels. Student should be able to think strategically and makes decisions in strategic development of company.
Course contents:
Strategy and development of strategic management. Strategic management process. Vision, mission and objectives of company. External analysis. Internal analysis. Strategic synthesis and strategic choice. Corporate strategies. Evaluation and managing of portfolio. Business strategies. Functional strategies. Implementation and control of strategy.
