Assesment methods :
Written test (30 points), project presentation (10 points) and a final written exam (60 points): for grade A minimum 93 points are necessary, for grade B minimum 86 points are necessary, for grade C minimum 79 points are necessary, for grade D minimum 72 points are necessary, for grade E minimum 64 points are necessary.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completing the course „Basic of Economics“, student understand basic economic concept, cost structure, costing, production factors, business assests, profitability, intensity, labour productivity and investment evaluation. The student will be able to solve, analyze and apply knowledge in solving the tasks of the basic economic categories.
Course contents:
It provides basic knowledge in the areas of economics and agricultural economics, business and also elementary knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics. Production conditions and factors of production in agriculture, property and capital equipment company, costs, costing, depreciation, profitability, productivity, intensity of production, income, investment activity, basic market categories, supply and demand. Economics of production of agricultural products.
