Assesment methods :
During the semester there will be 2 written tests for 20 points and a final written exam for 60 points. To obtain the evaluation A it is necessary to obtain at least 93 points, for the evaluation B at least 86 points, for the evaluation C at least 79 points, for the evaluation D at least 72 points and for the evaluation E at least 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim is present the princip of gametes production, collection and manipulation in vitro and in vivo conditions, gene manipulation, methods of cell separation and cryoprotection of biological material.After completion of the subject the student understands theoretical and practical sense of embryotechnology, is able to solve problems in practice,is able to apply knowledge in practice, is able to analyse and identify problems with respect to legislative and etical lows.
Course contents:
Embryotechnology help for students to receive basic information from anatomy, histology, reproduction, genetics, endocrinology and micromanipulation with sperm, embryos of farm animals. Embryotechnology help students to prepare for Biotechnology in animal productions.
