Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim of this subject is to inform the need and scope for students to practice during their study at SUA Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences in enterprises in the agro-food sector, expansion of student survey on the status of agricultural and food enterprises in the national economy, the common agricultural policy of the EU, the basic factors of production and the economy of agricultural production. Point out the action of the agriculture sector organizations and producers of safe food,as well as the role and function of management of the company in connection with the deepening of technological and laboratory skills of students as future managers resort.
Course contents:
The importance of practical training for students FBP SPU. Structure of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Position of the agro-food complex in the national economy. Production factors in agriculture. Ecosystems and their classification. Human resources in agri food sector, their structure and functions. Organisations of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of SR, unions and associations. The European Employment Strategy, Innovation in food industry. National system of professions, Departmental school system and science and research centers. Exhibitions and specialized events for agri food sector. Safety and health protection at work in agri food sector. Organization of practice and study abroad.
