Assesment methods :
Project preparation and presentation valued by 40 points, the final exam valued by 60 points. To pass the trial marked as A, it is necessary to obtain at least 93 points , in the case of B trial at least 86 points, trial C at least 79 points, trial D at least 72 points and finally trial E at least 64 points, respectively.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To provide basic information about the most important animal pests of fruit plants and vegetables and methods of their regulation. After completing of the subject students will be able to use effective control of horticultural plants.
Course contents:
Characteristics of unspecialised pests of fruit crops. Characteristics of the pests of apple tree, plum tree, cherry, pear, peach,vine and small fruits. Characteristics of unspecialised pests of vegetables. Characteristics of speialised pests of onion and other vegetables.
