Creating and presentation of project(40 points) and end-of-term examination – oral exam (60 points).
Grading scale: letter grade A requires minimum 93 points, letter grade B requires minimum 86 points, letter grade C requires minimum 79 points, letter grade D requires minimum 72 points, letter grade E requires minimum 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student wnderstands theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to determine optimal parameters in rearing, breeding and fattening of poultry. Mastering of the modern large-scale poultry farming design.
Course contents:
Relationships between indicators of production and breeding conditions. Methods of optimizing the rearing period for table eggs and poultry meat production. Economic parameters of production, modern trends and welfare in poultry farming. Preparing a project on breeding cycle optimizing.
