Assesment methods :
Elaboration and presentation of seminar work - 40 points, final written exam - 60 points. To gain grade A (excellent) it is required at least 93 points, grade B (very good) at least 86 points, grade C (good) at least 79 points, grade D (satisfactory) at least 72 points and grade E (sufficient) at least 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After finishing of the subject student will have knowledge from theory modelling and he will obtain basic skills from mathematical modelling. After completion of the subject the student is able to solve problems in the field of mathematical modelling, absolvent is able to apply mathematical modelling in the practice, absolvent is able to analyse technical problems and identify the solutions by mathematical- computer modelling.
Course contents:
Mathematical model, classification of mathematical model, methodology of mathematical modelling, mathematical modelling by ICT (mathematical-computer modelling), application of mathematical modelling in engineering.
