Assesment methods :
Elaboration and presentation of seminar work - 40 points, final written exam - 60 points. To gain grade A (excellent) it is required at least 93 points, grade B (very good) at least 86 points, grade C (good) at least 79 points, grade D (satisfactory) at least 72 points and grade E (sufficient) at least 64 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student acquaints with environments problem, he obtains view about actual ecologic global problems and about eco-energetic potential. He obtains knowledge about physical factors of environment and assessment of risk. Student can suggest methods of solving partial ecological problems.
After completion of the subject the student is able to solve problems in the area of environmental physics and eco-energetics, he is able to apply knowledge in practice, he is able to analyse environments problems and then he is able to identify the solutions.
Course contents:
Environment, physical factors of environment, classification and risk of physical factors. Earth, Sun, water, the atmosphere, the effects of mechanical forces and noise, gravitation field and its effects. Energy, types and sources of energy. Renewable sources of energy and eco-energetics. The effects of electric and magnetic fields. Light, effects of radiation. Principal solution of global environmental problems.
