The use of 3D printers in design engineering workflow
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to gain information on the state of 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies. The practical goal was designing and manufacturing a chemical syringe holder for a laboratory. We implemented the requirements of practice in the design process. Designed the model based on our studies of technologies in additive manufacturing. Fixed the problems and flaws in our prototype design iteratively with test prints. In the end, we printed out and assembled the whole model.
