Title of the thesis:Behavioural Analysis of Consumer Decision Making
Summary:The main goal of the thesis was behavioural analysis of consumer behaviour and consumer decision making process. Behavioural Economics is a stream of consumer theory developed by Kahneman and Tversky in 1979 based on the prospect theory. It defines several phenomena, such as anchoring effect or decoy effect, which cause deviations from rational behaviour of economic subjects. Using experimental methods thesis evaluates the impact of selected behavioural factors on consumer decision-making. The aim of our research was to determine whether the decoy effect and anchoring effect have an impact on the decision-making process of consumer.
